Hi, teenage me.

I know that right now things are hard for you, really hard. At least, they feel really hard, but you can’t quite be sure that they actually are, because tons of people around the world are in situations that are so much worse. You’re worried that your problems pale in comparison to those of the rest of the global population. You know that you have a warm place to sleep, and you talk to the people around you. There are 2 families that try to provide a good life for you, and you’ve never had to worry about poverty or your safety. Shouldn’t that be good enough?

Everything Happens for a Reason

If you don’t know me well, I’m a bit of a romantic. I believe in fate, love at first sight, and that everything happens for a reason. Actually, I’m really just a believer. My boyfriend and I were talking yesterday about how I am open to the possibility of LOTS of different ideas. There isn’t much that I will shut down or dismiss, in the way of theories/ideas/conspiracies. I feel like I have lots of examples in my life of these things, but right now I’m going to tell you about how this blog proved that everything happens for a reason.
